Buying a home in Turkey will normally take 2 to 3 months for a foreign investor, from the time you find the property to the final deed. Various documents and authorizations will be required before the buyer and the seller or developer can enter into a formal agreement.
Presentation; Our experienced sales team assists our clients by presenting them the most convenient project alternatives, and accompany them during the whole presentation process in the sales offices.
Reservation; The Reservation Form is to be signed in order to allocate the preferred real estate till the signing of the sales contract. A reservation amount is required which is completely recoverable by deduction from the downpayment.
Signing of the sales agreement; The Sales Agreement is to be signed within 2 weeks following the reservation. A certain amount of downpayment which is around 30% of the unit sale price is required at the signing of the agreement.
Installments; monthly installments should be transferred according to the payment plans of the related project.There are three options to transfer money:
- Set up a local bank account in Istanbul in the name of customer and transfer related payments using this account.
- Transfers can be made directly to the seller’s bank account.
- Transfers can be made to the TERRA’s account and TERRA organizes all necessary paperwork.
Commission fee; For assistance services during the sales/purchasing process, a certain amount of commision is charged over the real estate’s sales price. The pre-sale fee is 1% of the sales price and is to be paid at the time of signing the Reservation Form, which is obligated to allocate the real estate. As the buyer decides to purchase the real estate, to cover the assistance services, the buyer is to pay an additional assistance fee at the time of signing sales contract.
